Description:

This rare earthenware vessel is printed in medium blue with the Broseley pattern.  It has a modestly molded finial and a simple linear molded base.  It is believed that this vessel served to supply water to birds in a cage through the opening in the cylindrical extension from the bulbous portion of the piece.
