Maker: Davenport Maker's Mark: Maker's Mark: Description: Earthenware plate printed in blue. The rim has eight light scallops and the bottom is flat without a foot ring. The pattern is known as Chinese Fishermen or Fishing Family. The makers mark is rare and found on early earthenware, it measures 1.75 inches by 1.875 inches. Also shown below is a the same pattern with an impressed "DONOVAN" mark which may be attributed to Davenport.
