An earthenware plate printed in sepia and green with one of the patterns from the  Peruvian Horse Hunt Series.  Shaw produced this series of patterns depicting South American cowboys lassoing wild horses with the Andes in the background. The central scenes vary according to the size and form of the piece decorated. The patterns were also printed in blue, pink, purple, and this two-color combination.  The same border, consisting of picture medallions with another horse scene repeated, is used with all of the patterns. This  version is recorded in the TCC Pattern and Source Print Database as Peruvian Horse Hunt #03.
