  • Diameter: 8.75 in (22.225 cm)

Description:

One of a pair of plates decorated with an unusual border and central pattern in multicolor, multi-plate printing. The print is made up of only 3 color separations, pink, blue, and brown.  The possible attribution to Enoch Wood & Sons is based on evidence that simple multicolor patterns were printed by Enoch Wood earlier than previously thought.   See other examples in this exhibit and for more information on multicolor printing click here.
