Description:

An earthenware platter printed in blue with the named view View of Greenwich. Printed title mark. This view shows the twin towers of the Royal Naval Hospital, which was designed by Sir Christopher Wren and Nicholas Hawksmoor and built on the site of an earlier Tudor Palace. Greenwich is on the Thames, downstream from the city of London. As well as housing the National Maritime Museum, it contains the Greenwich Observatory through which passes the line of zero longitude.
