Description:

An earthenware platter printed in pink and green.  The pattern is part of a series named No. 107.  It features Chinese children at play. The children with Western features are in Chinese dress. In this example, one of the children is flying a kite while his two friends watch.   This specific pattern has been assigned the name Kite Flying in the TCC Pattern and Source Print Database.  Each shape in the series would have had a different center pattern. The border is filled with large feathers and small flowers.
