This saucer is decorated with a very rare pattern that is one of a group of prints that date from the earliest use of underglaze  blue printing at Worcester.  The design is known as the Creeper Print and the saucer dates from 1757-58.  It is pattern II.B2 in Branyan, French and Sandon's catalog of Worcester blue and white patterns.
