Description:

Transfer printed tile dust-pressed tile, poppy over an interlaced dotted strapwork design.The Derwent Foundry Co., Derby (c.1884-1894)  were an ironfoundry making cast iron fireplaces.  The tiles associated with this foundry are often with a monogram of D F and Co, or moulded marks of the company name in full. The tiles were commissioned from George Wooliscroft & Sons., Hanley (c.1880 -2000) to the Derwent Foundry's designs.
