Description:

An earthenware sauce tureen stand printed in blue.  Pattern number 904-11; reference Drakard, David and Holdway, Paul. Spode Transfer Printed Ware, 1784-1833. Woodbridge, Suffolk Antique Collector's Club, Inc., 2002.  Elements from three source prints were used: dogs running to the left from Hunting a Kuttauss or Civet Cat; rabbit at right foreground from Shooting at the Edge of a Jungle; and house at the right rear from Sices, or Grooms, Leading out Horses.
