Description:

This bowl is attributed to the Cockpit Hill pottery in Derby.  This was separate from the main Derby porcelain factory and produced mainly earthenware.  However, a small quantity of porcelain was also produced.  This can be of rather poor quality and show little translucency.  The wares are decorated with underglaze blue prints.This bowl is printed on the inside with four floral swags and the Fence pattern.  The outside
