Description:

The glaze on this lobed porcelain dish is speckled and bubbled.  It is likely to be an early example of underglaze printing on Derby porcelain by Richard Holdship who signed an agreement with William Duesbury and John Heath of Derby to carry out transfer printing for them.  The dish bears two different prints of Classical Ruins and three different prints of sprays are arranged around
