Maker: Unknown Description: Tile of earthenware, transfer-printed. The design is in the Japanese style which became popular in the second half of the 19th century as part of the Aesthetic style. Printed in tones of blue, it shows a crane over plum trees in blossom, water and islets with a fretted border at the bottom edge.
