Description:

Broth bowl, cover and stand pluck and dust printed in red with red printed border and red painted enamel rims.   Handles and knop trimmed with red painted enamel.  Print number P531 Botanical Flowers, reference Drakard, David and Holdway, Paul. Spode Transfer Printed Ware, 1784-1833. Woodbridge, Suffolk Antique Collector's Club, Inc., 2002.  Note: The use of botanical flowers was introduced by the Wedgwood Company using the same border design.
