Description:

A tall urn-shaped bone china coffee pot printed in medium blue in the Mandarin II pattern with Trellis and Dagger border and gild decoration added overglaze.  The shape of this coffee pot is recorded in the 1820 Shape Book on page 69.  The Mandarin pattern continued to be made by Copeland on earthenware and bone china throughout the 19th century and by many other manufacturers continuing into the 20th century.
