The name for the Sporting Series is a given name rather than a factory title. There are at least 33 different center patterns in this series, many of which are included in this exhibit.  All the designs depict hunting scenes or hunted animals, however, none of the patterns printed on the wares is named.  In some cases, more than one source was used to develop a single pattern.  Examples of items from this series are rarely found in Britain which suggests that Enoch Wood & Sons probably produced the series primarily for export.
