, two of Wolfe's victories in North America during the Seven Years War.  He was fatally wounded at the latter battle in 1759.  The printing was carried out in Liverpool by John Sadler, whose name appears beneath the left hand scroll. "Liverpool" is printed beneath the right hand scroll.

The elaborate handle is typical of Longton Hall porcelain.

Description:

This Longton Hall porcelain mug is decorated with a print entitled "Major General Wolfe", with rococo scrollwork to either side, surmounted by trophies of arms, funeral monuments and flags. Two flags on the left are inscribed with the names "Louisbourg" and "Quebec", two of Wolfe's victories in North America during the Seven Years War.  He was fatally wounded at the latter battle in 1759.  The printing was carried...
