The Transferware Collectors Club was incorporated in 1998, and is a forum for sharing information and interests among archaeologists, collectors, curators, dealers, historians, scholars, and those who simply appreciate the beauty and technical proficiency of British transferware. The club's focus is on British printed wares produced from 1760 to 1900 and it welcomes everyone interested in any of the makers, various patterns, colors and motifs of transferware made during this period.

The Northern Ceramic Society was founded in 1972 by a group of enthusiastic collectors and curators. It has grown over the years and now has almost a thousand members in the UK and overseas.  The society's aims are to encourage research and to disseminate new information about ceramics in as many different ways as possible.
