Description:

Tin-glazed earthenware (so-called delftware) tile printed in red in Liverpool by Sadler and Green with "Two Children Dancing" (Anthony Ray, Liverpool Printed Tiles, 1994, no.D5-12). The design can also be seen in this exhibit on creamware probably printed by Henry Baker, and on Liverpool porcelain from Philip Christian's factory.
