Source Description:

Print titled A MACARONY at a Sale of PICTURES inscribed  Brandoin pinxt. ; Grignion sculp. Published by Robt Sayer, which means from a design by Michael Vincent Brandoin and engraved by Charles Grignion. published by Robert Sayer.  The publication dates from 1771.

Description:

A molded creamware plate, probably made in Staffordshire and printed by Guy Green in Liverpool. The central print is of "A MACARONY at a Sale of PICTURES", a design also used in tin-glazed tiles.
