Description:

One of a pair of plates decorated with an unusual border and central pattern in multicolor, multi-plate printing. The print is made up of only 3 color separations, pink, blue, and brown.  The possible attribution to Enoch Wood & Sons is based on evidence that simple multicolor patterns were printed by Enoch Wood earlier than previously thought.   See other examples in this exhibit...
