Source Description:
The source print is from A Cabinet Of Quadrupeds by John Church, 1805. The artist is Julius Caesar Ibbetson and the engraver is James Tookey.Additional Image:
The Pointer pattern is also found on a 12.62 inch by 9 inch chestnut basket under tray. Observe that the cross hatching and the tops of the cartouches have been replaced by the circular piercing at the edge of the tray.

An earthenware platter printed in blue with the Pointer or Hunter And Dog pattern. The border cartouches clockwise from the top feature cows, goats, an ocelot and a dog retrieving a duck.
