Description:

An earthenware sauce tureen printed in blue with the Crouching Rabbit or Rabbit pattern. It resembles The Domestic Rabbit found in The General History of Quadrupeds by Thomas Bewick, 1790.  The lid is patterned with stylized leaves and flowers against a diamond or crosshatch background.
