Source Description:

The source print is from A Cabinet Of Quadrupeds by John Church, 1805.  The artist is Julius Caesar Ibbetson and the engraver is James Tookey.  Although the source print is titled Fox, the print is of a barnyard scene which includes a rooster and chickens.  Notice the fox in the background stealing a goose or...

The Fox pattern is also found on a 12.25 inch by 8.75 inch pierced basket stand.  The border is patterned with stylized leaves and flowers against a diamond or crosshatch background.
