The items included in this section exhibit an extraordinary variety of wares achieved by combining printing and painting techniques. Included are examples of printing with painting-in underglaze, examples of printing underglaze and enameling overglaze, as well as a combination of both. Both porcelain and earthenware bodies can be found in this section. In each example, the printing and painting techniques are described.
