Description:

An early pearlware octagonal shaped plate line-engraved printed in blue with the Full Nankin pattern.  The Full Nankin design originated at Caughley on porcelain, an example of which is included in this exhibition.  The maker of this plate is unknown.  This rare plate is an example of a made-to-order item and is marked on the underside "York House".  It is not known if the
