Maker: Davenport Maker's Mark: Description: A pearlware dessert dish printed in blue in the Chinoiserie Ruins pattern. Made in a fish shape with molded fin-like handle painted a blue ground. The Chinoiserie Ruins pattern was produced in large quantities by John Davenport on dinner and dessert wares and by other manufactories. Marked pieces by Rogers are also well documented.
