Description:

This plate is of deep section.  It is too small to be a soup plate and may be a pudding dish.  It is printed with a pattern, known as the Conversation.  The same name is also applied to a different chinoiserie landscape pattern. including two men on a bridge. that is mainly found on earthenware.  The Conversation pattern seen here is quite a rare pattern...
