This 8 inch under tray shows what is now determined to be Bear Forest in Cork, Ireland.  This is listed as No. 9  in the series in David and Linda Arman's 1974 book, Historical Staffordshire, an Illustrated Checklist. It appears on plates, soup plates, a cup plate, a mug, and on this gravy tureen under tray.  The central pattern on this example is taken from the source print shown below. Prior to discovery of the source prints that Clews used for these patterns, researchers David and Linda Arman endeavored to provide descriptive names for them.  The Armans named this scene Two Story Building with Curved Drive.
