Description:
A London shape bone china sugar box bat-printed in mauve with an Adam Buck scene in a white reserve out of an under-glaze blue ground. there are smaller reserves on the cover with bat-prints of fruit. This is an unfinished pattern, the print would normally have been carefully coloured and the blue ground enhanced with gilding, unmarked.BACK TO CATALOG INDEX
