Maker: Isleworth Description: This inscribed and dated Isleworth teabowl and saucer is printed with that factory's distinctive version of The Fisherman Pattern. The significant feature of the Isleworth version is the extra fisherman, with his fishing rod over his shoulder and proffering a fish. This figure is not present on the versions of the pattern used at Worcester, Caughley and Liverpool. Both the teabowl and saucer are dated 1782. BACK TO CATALOG INDEX
