Description:

Earthenware tile with brown transfer printed decoration depicting holly leaves. The design derives from Asian decorative compositions. The Crystal Porcelain Pottery Co. Ltd was based in Cobridge, Hanley and produced dense, extremely vitreous tiles.

This design is known to have been produced on two different blanks / backs with the factory marks "THE CRYSTAL PORCELAIN POTTERY Co. Ltd. COBRIDGE" or "THE CRYSTAL / PORCELAIN / POTTERY Co....
