Description:
An earthenware oval soup tureen lid printed in blue with the Hunting a Buffalo pattern. The animal is also known as a water buffalo. Pattern number 904-5; reference Drakard, David and Holdway, Paul. Spode Transfer Printed Ware, 1784-1833. Woodbridge, Suffolk Antique Collector's Club, Inc., 2002.
