Maker: Mason Maker's Mark: Description: An ironstone china pot-pourri jar with pith pierced cover. The decoration in the 'Japan' style comprises a printed pattern in underglaze purplish-blue; the larger leaves are painted in underglaze blue and the design is filled in with overglaze painting in red, pink and pale blue, the whole enlivened with gilding.
