Source Description:

This Chinese Export porcelain saucer bears a hand painted pattern that was used as a basis for the Two Figures pattern, copied by many potters in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.

Description:

A pearlware tray with elegantly molded leaf-shaped handles, printed with a line engraved version of the Two Figures II pattern which is based on a Chinese original export porcelain design.  Robert Copeland refers the pattern as the standard version of Two Figures II.  Reference Copeland, Robert.
